Not all fats are bad for your body but also many of them are necessary for its health. Hormones, for example need fats. Learn which types of fat you should bring to you diet.
Fats are made of fatty acids and not all of them are harmful to health. Those who you should avoid are saturated fatty acids and GM fatty acids as they can threaten our health. And then there are those that we should be consuming daily: the unsaturated fatty acids. There are two types of them: monounsaturated and polyunsaturated. They are required for various physiological functions. Our hormones, organs, tissues and our energy, need them to be balanced. Otherwise we suffer health problems. The worst scenario is when we do not consume this type of essential fatty acids, and on top we do eat foods that are rich in saturated and trans fats.
Take a note: eat more avocado, nuts, olives, and foods rich in omega 3 and omega 6. Many super nutrients are very riched in essential fatty acids as chia seeds, spirulina or chlorella, among others.
