Recipe: Pineapple, Lemon and Baobab juice.


We have not published any recipe for a long time. This original juice from our friend Núria de Coolinary has captivated us.

This time with our Baobab powder, an ingredient with many properties as you will see.

Here you have the recipe. An easy and simple recipe with digestive and purifying properties.

If you like pineapple this recipe is for you. Taking advantage of it is winter and season of national natural pineapple, we prepare a juice with only 3 ingredients, pineapple, lemon and baobab powder. The 3 ingredients have very interesting nutritional properties. Pineapple is a tropical fruit rich in vitamin C and minerals such as magnesium, potassium and calcium. Lemon hydrates and alkalizes the cells.

And the baobab is the fruit of the Tree of Life in tropical Africa. It is considered a superfood because it is very antioxidant, rich in fiber, in vitamin C and minerals such as zinc, calcium and potassium. The fruit has a coconut-like appearance that is allowed to dry in the sun and the dried pulp is extracted in the form of flour. And it is marketed as a powder so it is easy to add in juices or smoothies, even desserts. It has a bittersweet taste, so added to the juice, it softens the acidity of the pineapple and the lemon, resulting in a soft juice with acidic strokes but at the same time sweet.
And as a final touch, we add a teaspoon of pollen. It is optional, but I confess that I love the combination, because of its flavor, why it forces you to take it with a spoon little by little and finally; Why do I take advantage of good morning of its remineralizing and restorative properties of pollen.
This juice is ideal for fasting or between meals during the day. You can prepare more quantity and store in a glass container with a tight lid and keep in the coldest part of the refrigerator.


2 cups (200 gr.) of natural chopped pineapple without skin
1/2 organic lemon
1 – 2 teaspoons baobab


1 teaspoon of pollen (optional)


1. Peel and chop the pineapple and lemon.
2. Enter in the juice extractor or blender.
3. Serve in a glass and add the baobab. Stir vigorously with the spoon to mix well or beat a few seconds. Decorate with pollen.
